I want to buy a mp3 player for my brother and i know that ipods are out of my pricing range. he needs something that is a 1-2GB. I came across a philips mp3 player and it looked nice at a nice price. Are they worth it? If not, what do you suggest?

I just got a Philips GoGear MP3 player and most of my music files are WMA, but I also have alot of Itunes AAC files and I need to transfer them to my player.

So i put in my digital copy of the incredible hulk to windows media player and its in wmv format. The converter says that it supports wmv format but when i tried to put the movie in my mp3 it said that i needed the latest DirectX and a codec, but it didn’t say what codec, and i have the latest DirectX. Can anyone help me?

i have a philips gogear 1gb mp3 player and i want to use it without batteries in it.is that possible?if so,how can i charge the mp3 player using my pc?

I own a ipod and a Philips Extreme 5.1 Digital Surround Sound Speaker System (really cheap, bought for $90 at Frys). I have hooked up the cable in various ways, but at the best, I get sound out the front and back speakers, not the center one and the subwoofer. I would really like to get my ipod sound through at least the subwoofer, and can’t find a way to do it. The system obviously doesn’t use RCA, which is just left and right, not surround. Anyway, does anyone know an inexpensive/free and easy way to do this? Please help, I love to listen to my music really loud and bassy in my room, but I can’t really do that with an Ihome, can I?

I would like to know how to put music onto it and where can i find music and does it cost.Please help i need to listen to some tunes.

Ok well whenever i plug my gogear into my computer it just says “do not disconnect” and blinks on and off then just stays off.. and it doesnt turn on while it’s plugged in. I tried reseting it and yes i put it in the disk and installed everything, any ideas?

i really want to put a whole movie on my mp3 player
like everytime i convert it on there it only plays little bit of it
i heard you can watch a 2 hr movie on it so how do i put a whole movie on there and where can i download a freeware video resizer so it can fit in my mp3 player

I somehow managed to lose my remote control to my stereo. It has the timer feature on it that I love! :( Can anyone tell me where I could find another one? I’ve searched Ebay, and went to the Philips website but am having no luck. Can you use one of those Universal Remote things on it? Any help would be awesome. I miss my remote!
